Monthly MOC Challenge Highlights
June’s Mini Domes Challenge brought a wide variety of creative interpretations, with members showcasing clever techniques for building curved, enclosed structures at a small scale. Voting highlighted both technical skill and imaginative design.
For July, the focus shifts to BrickFair preparation, encouraging members to finalize and refine their builds for display.
Additionally, several members are participating in the “31 Days of Mosaics” challenge, adding another layer of creative output throughout the month.
Looking Ahead: New Collaboration Ideas
As always, NOVA-LUG members are thinking ahead:
- A Zoo-themed collaboration was proposed by Dallas
- An Amusement Park layout was suggested by Ralph
Both ideas sparked interest and could become future large-scale group projects.
With BrickFair Chantilly on the horizon, July’s meeting was a crucial checkpoint—bringing together logistics, creativity, and collaboration. The group is well-positioned for a strong showing, with an impressive range of builds and displays ready to share with the wider LEGO community.
